ND vs Army wager recap and reminders
ND takes a two game win streak to Southern California this Saturday to end the regular season. With the 27-3 win over Army at Yankee Stadium, the Irish improve to 6-5 and are now bowl eligible. While most of us had slightly higher hopes a few months back with Brian Kelly’s arrival, Notre Dame has an opportunity to at least end the season on a high note with a road win against one of our bitter rivals in USC. Getting a win in LA could certainly propel ND into a bigger bowl, and may even allow them to play after the Christmas holiday, while a loss would all but guarantee a bowl invite that would take a back seat to the annual Blue/Gold game. Either way, we need the practice so we are all for accepting any bowl invite extended.
As for us at NDPick’em? Well, we were hoping to get some new lines posted tonight, but they are currently unavailable, so we will be checking back again Wednesday and post them once we see them. The leaderboard should be updated Wednesday as well with the new lines, but for anyone keeping score at home, ND covered against Army, the under came in, and the official attendance at Yankee Stadium was 54,251, so the prop bet came in with the sellout, proving once again the drawing power of Notre Dame (Yankee Stadium probably had a little to do with it as well…!).
A few reminders as we head into the last game of the regular season. Once the season is over, we will be updating the leaderboard with an UNOFFICIAL ranking based on credits won throughout the season. We will then be verifying each and every wager made throughout the course of the season to be sure the minimum wagers (6) were made by any member that is in position to win any of the prizes. Any member that has not made at least six wagers throughout the season will be taken off the leaderboard and will be disqualified from winning any prizes. Once all action has been verified, we will make the final leaderboard OFFICIAL and announce the winners of the 2010 NDPick’em Challenge.
We will be attempting to reach out to everyone via email to make any announcement as well as to arrange prize delivery, so please keep this in mind. As always, feel free to email or message us as well with any questions or concerns. Our expectation is that we will be able to announce the winners about a month (we hope) after the season ends, but we will of course update everyone if it is taking longer than expected.
For now, let’s all get our prayers in this week so we can end with a huge win over USC. GO IRISH!
Onward to Victory,
NDPick’em
